Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Temple, TX 76508 Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension) Schedule: 3x12 Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) Specialty: Pediatric CardiopulmonaryThe Payrate Information : Overall Weekly Pay: $2,542.67 W2 hourly Pay Rate: $36.5 Weekly Stipend: $1,228.67Requirements: Active Respiratory Therapist (RT) license and Texas state license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications Minimum 2 years of relevant experienceJob Summary: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for delivering comprehensive cardiopulmonary care to patients, utilizing advanced clinical knowledge, therapeutic techniques, and evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities: Provide and oversee respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, inhaled medications, airway clearance, and both invasive and non-invasive ventilation, as prescribed by the physician Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in emergency situations Review physician orders and patient diagnostic results to determine and administer appropriate respiratory treatments Implement approved clinical protocols under physician direction Deliver both routine and advanced respiratory therapies while prioritizing patient needs in a fast-paced environment Educate patients on proper use of respiratory equipment and techniques Support continuous quality improvement initiatives in patient care
