Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Title: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med Surg, Telemetry Facility: Glens Falls Hospital - Telemetry/Neuro - T6 Location: Glen Falls, NY Shift: Day/nights Guaranteed Hrs.: 40 hrs. (8hrs/Day) Contract: 13 Weeks Roles and Responsibility: Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans. Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Monitor patient conditions and report changes to healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Provide pre- and post-operative care and education to patients and their families. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Ensure proper documentation of patient care and treatment. Monitor medical equipment. Perform wound care Manage intravenous lines and catheters. Educate patients on surgical procedures, recovery processes, and home care. Skills: Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical-surgical procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Education and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN). Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
