GiGi's Playhouse Knoxville aims to make a lasting impact on families in the Knoxville, TN area.Role DescriptionThe Executive Director will oversee the daily operations of GiGi's Playhouse Knoxville and lead its strategic development and implementation. Responsibilities include managing staff and volunteers, building relationships with donors and community stakeholders, organizing fundraising events, ensuring program quality, and maintaining financial stability. The Director will represent the organization in the local community, build partnerships, and advocate for individuals with Down syndrome. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Knoxville, TN.QualificationsLeadership and management experience, including strategic planning and team oversightFundraising, donor relations, and sponsorship solicitation expertiseStrong communication skills, including public speaking, interpersonal, and written communicationFinancial management and budgeting proficiencyExperience with community outreach and building collaborative partnershipsCommitment to the mission and vision of empowering individuals with Down syndromeProficiency with nonprofit management practices and board relations is a plusBachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
