Location: Minneapolis Office Reports To: Vice President, Accounting Position SummaryThe Associate, Fund Billing, is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of client advisory fees across multiple custodians. This role partners closely with Operations, Client Service, Compliance, and Finance to ensure billing accuracy, resolution of exceptions, and adherence to regulatory requirements. The Associate plays a key role in maintaining data integrity and delivering reliable reporting that supports firm revenue and advisor relationships.Principal ResponsibilitiesAdvisor & Client Billing OperationsConduct quarter-end client fee billing for investment advisory and asset management arrangements across multiple custodians.Process ad hoc and intra-quarter billing for accounts entering or leaving the platform.Support fee calculation validation, data uploads, and reconciliation activities to ensure billing accuracy.Research and resolve billing exceptions, rejections, or discrepancies in collaboration with custodians and internal Operations and Client Service teams.Assist with advisory fee testing and documentation in partnership with the Compliance team.Reporting & Data ManagementMaintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation.Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly billing summaries, variance analyses, and internal reports.Support audits, reconciliations, and ad hoc reporting requests related to advisory fees.Coordinate information for internal stakeholders and external partners as needed.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.3-5 years of experience in billing, financial operations, or back-office functions, preferably within an RIA, broker-dealer, or financial services firm.Experience with Salesforce, Orion, Fidelity Wealthscape or Schwab Advisor Services.Familiarity with advisory fee structures, custodians, and investment billing processes.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
