Read below for more informationOperate laser cutting and punching machinesLoad, edit, and run machine programsLoad raw materials into sheet baysMaintain cut quality while keeping efficient feed ratesPerform first?piece and in?process inspectionsComplete routine laser maintenance, including startup/shutdown, cleaning windows and centering nozzles, emptying dustbins and replacing cutting bedsKeep the work area clean and organizedEnsure all products meet quality standardsHandle steel raw materials and scrapRemove ("pick") laser?cut parts and stack them on pallets or in containersPackage parts using banding or shrink wrapSafely operate forklifts to move materials and finished partsUse basic hand and power tools as neededWhat You Need to Bring to the Laser Operator Role:Forklift operating experienceCrane operator certification preferredUnderstanding of manufacturing and inventory processesAbility to read blueprints and use inspection toolsStrong math skillsGood verbal and written communicationCAD experience preferredMechanical aptitude; knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems is a plusEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
