Material Handler

Descriptive Summary The Warehouse Materials Handler is responsible for pulling and verifying materials and supplies on warehouse orders. This role will process inventory at work centers by delivering or opening products for clients. Also will keep loading areas and machinery clean. Essential Functions General warehouse duties include receiving and storing materials, in addition to cleaning and sweeping. Receive, load, and unload flooring and other products in the warehouse. Deliver, and pick up material from client or customer locations utilizing company vans or cube trucks. Cut and stage flooring material for the day(s) installs. Organize receiving information for inventory control records. Coordinate fleet maintenance. Perform shoveling and landscape duties for the building. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent required. A valid driver’s license is required. Must be able to pass a motor vehicle report. Prior forklift experience is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to proactively identify, analyze, address and resolve problem areas, conflicts, and issues, strong decision-making skills. Position requires frequent sitting, driving, standing, and walking. Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs with or without accommodation. Working knowledge of the internet, inventory, project management, spreadsheet, and word processor software and order processing systems.
