Position Summary
The Assistant Project Manager supports the planning and execution of civil/site work projects from start to finish. This role works closely with project managers, field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and progressing efficiently.
This position includes a combination of office and field responsibilities. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing project needs are essential to supporting successful project delivery.
What This Role Looks Like
· Involved in multiple projects at various stages
· Mix of office coordination and jobsite support
· Regular interaction with field crews, subcontractors, and management
· Requires organization, follow-through, and clear communication
· Provides hands-on exposure to how civil/site projects are planned and executed
Required
· Strong math skills
· Strong deductive reasoning
· Self-motivated
· Strong communication skills
· Valid driver’s license
Preferred
· MS Excel / Word knowledge
· Grading / Excavation experience
· Project Management knowledge
Duties
Assist in:
· scheduling sub-contractors
· project submittals
· pay applications
· GPS setup (light physical labor)
· gathering and analyzing data from various sources
· processing survey drone data
· new project setup (light physical labor)
· attend progress meetings on occasion
