Local Coordinator

*Job Summary* The Local Coordinator plays a vital role in organizing and managing community programs focused on youth engagement and development. This position involves coordinating volunteer efforts, recruiting participants, and fostering positive relationships within the community. The role offers an opportunity to develop skills in volunteer management, community outreach, and program coordination while supporting local youth initiatives. *Responsibilities* * Oversee and manage volunteer teams to ensure smooth execution of community programs * Recruit new volunteers and participants through outreach efforts and community events * Coordinate scheduling, training, and support for volunteers and program participants * Build strong relationships with local schools, organizations, and community members * Assist in planning and implementing educational activities or workshops for students * Monitor program progress and provide feedback to improve engagement strategies * Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours, participant attendance, and program outcomes * Promote program awareness through social media, flyers, and community networks *Experience* * Prior experience in volunteer management or coordinating community programs is preferred * Background in social work, teaching, or related fields is highly advantageous * Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students and diverse populations * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with volunteers, students, and community partners * Experience recruiting or outreach efforts within a community setting is a plus This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about social impact, education, and community service.
