Logistician

Overview Logistician (EDOS-2026-24877) : Bowhead seeks a Logistician who analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs of moderate scope. Responsibilities Job Duties include but are not limited to: Analyzes contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements. Develops logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies. Identifies, prioritizes, and assesses key logistics assets and infrastructures. Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times. Qualifications One to three (1-3) years combined experience in military logistics, procurement or warehouse operations. Demonstrated experience with Government procurements, maintaining database systems, or with military logistics operations. Bachelors degree preferred, High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience in the following Government systems is preferred: IBPES PM Share Point and Excel Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team The below types of skills/qualifications are of importance and/or value for this work area. Attention to Detail. Highly Organized. Experience with databases such as SharePoint and/or Microsoft Excel Demonstrated ability to heavily multi-task and work in a fast pace environment. Demonstrated experience with customer service and various follow-up mechanisms. Quick learner on processes. Physical Demands: • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
