C# Software Developer – Hedge Fund – New York Location: New York City (Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office)Company Overview:If you're a driven C# developer with Middle Office experience working for an Investment Bank or Asset Manager, we have an exciting new opportunity to join a hedge fund, perhaps for the first time?This is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a hybrid working arrangement, 3 days per week in their NYC offices.Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and support key Middle Office applications using C#.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure successful project delivery.Take full ownership of technical projects from planning to deployment and post-production support.Perform DevOps tasks, including managing releases and ensuring smooth integration with production environments.Work both independently and as part of a team in an agile environment, interacting with key stakeholders across the business.Key Skills and Qualifications:2+ years of experience as a C# Developer (so could be an ideal second job, post graduation). Proven experience working in an agile environment, interacting directly with stakeholders.Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.Demonstrated experience in owning or contributing to full technical projects, from requirements elicitation to delivery and support.Comfortable with DevOps responsibilities, including release management and production support (of your own code).Desired Skills:Solid understanding of Fixed Income OR Foreign Exchange (FX) products.Familiarity with the full trade lifecycle.Experience with security master systems.Knowledge of Middle Office functions, either from working in similar teams at investment firms or providing Middle Office technology solutions through vendors like FlexTrade, Murex, Coremont, Orchestrade, Charles River (CRD) or similar.Understanding of regulatory reporting.
