Sr. Accountant

Constellation Search Group is looking for a Senior Accountant for a full-time, direct hire position. In this role, the Senior Accountant will manage and process financial transactions, prepare and post month-end close journal entries, and generate client management reports and internal financial statements. This individual will also be involved in reconciliations and internal audits to review accounting controls.Responsibilities:Organize and process financial transactions by generating reports, accessing bank transactions, and updating data in financial workbooks.Prepare and post full month-end close cycle journal entries.Reconcile financial transactions, comparing budget and expense spending for monthly reporting.Reconcile bank and merchant accounts, balance sheets, external reports, and subledgers to the general ledger.Prepare client monthly management reports and internal financial statements.Participate in internal audits involving the review of accounting and administrative controls. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.2-4 years of public accounting experience.Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook.Experience with NetSuite ERP.Experience supporting accounting activities in a high-volume environment (i.e., retail, manufacturing, hospitality, etc.)Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced organization.Desire to learn, grow, and build a career in accounting.
