Accountant
```Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial information and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, possess excellent analytical skills, and be proficient in various accounting software.
Duties:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct financial report writing to communicate findings and provide recommendations for improvement
- Manage general ledger accounting and perform regular reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior accounting staff
-Private Equity and Venture Capital transactions will be required
Skills:
- Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial management principles
- Proficiency in using accounting software specifically Sage Intacct.
-Experience in multi- family real estate accounting and property management software platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and maintaining accurate financial records
- Knowledge of private equity transactions and related accounting practices is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective financial report writing
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision
