Clinical, Academic or Hybrid full-time Emergency Medicine positions available
This is an exciting time to be a part of UAB, we are expanding again the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine has experienced rapid growth and will be moving into a new Emergency Department this year. Additional physicians are needed for the States only ACS Level 1 Trauma Center and the nations first accredited ACEP Level 1 facility.

30-bed Observation Unit
Comprehensive Snakebite Program (first in the nation)
Global health initiatives supporting BLS, EM skills, ultrasound training in Kenya, Nigeria, the Dominican Republic, and Cameroon
Expanding hyperbaric wound care program
Critical Care Transport utilizing avenues by air and ground
Point-of-care ultrasound using Butterfly technology

Faculty have opportunities to develop expertise in joint specialties including emergency medicine-sports medicine, emergency medicine-geriatrics, and emergency medicine-toxicology. Fellowship training in these and related areas is highly valued.
