National Underwriting Manager

A company is looking for a SVP, National Underwriting Manager - Western Region. Key Responsibilities Lead underwriting operations and maintain credit quality across the Western United States Communicate and deliver training on underwriting policies and ensure compliance with regulations Recruit, mentor, and develop underwriting team members while analyzing operational trends for strategic planning Required Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of mortgage underwriting experience, including Conventional, Jumbo, and Government loan products At least 5 years of underwriting leadership or management experience Strong knowledge of Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Product Advisor (LP) Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Prior quality assurance or quality control management experience preferred
