Job DetailsDescriptionTitle: Website Marketing AssistantReports to: Digital Technology Manager and Director of MarketingFLSA Class: Salaried Non-ExemptThe job duties described below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job classification. All employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.Description Of PositionThe job duties for this position include but are not limited to: Manage and update content on the company websites and mobile app including Mcmenamins.com, Edgefieldconcerts.com, Grandlodgeconcerts.com, UFOfest.com, Crystalballroompdx.com, blog.mcmenamins.com, shopmcmenamins.com, group sales website and others. Content including but not limited to menus, food specials, hours, general content and photos. Create landing pages, special event, music and movie listings and publish to web. Design, prepare and send a variety of weekly, monthly and specialty eblasts. Manage subscriber lists and segmentation of audiences for targeted messaging. Determine which events to be featured on homepage and mobile app and create banners and posters for rotating carousels. Make decisions on how best to present information online and use critical thinking to override normal process/structure if needed. Manage and troubleshoot the daily flow and process of receiving content to ensure current and correct information is presented online. Compose and send mobile push notifications. Report email statistics as requested. Collaborate on new digital technology projects including websites, mobile and app development when requested. Represent McMenamins in a professional manner by managing, forwarding and responding as necessary to incoming questions and comments via the webmaster email account. Each McMenamins employee is expected to perform their job in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to their manager in a timely manner. All McMenamins employees will also be expected to keep current on all company events, history, and products.
