Tax DirectorPosition OverviewThe Tax Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing the tax compliance and planning functions for high-net-worth individuals and taxation. The role involves providing expert guidance on a variety of tax matters, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations, and optimizing tax strategies for clients.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and review the preparation and filing of various tax returns, including 1040s, S-Corps, C-Corps, and Trust Estate Tax returns.Provide comprehensive tax planning and consulting services for high-net-worth clients and their entities.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations affecting high-net-worth individuals and pass-through entities.Assist clients with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize compliance for clients.Collaborate with other financial professionals to provide holistic tax advice to clients.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation is required.Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting or tax advisory roles.3-5 years as a Tax Manager managing full project cycleIn-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws, particularly related to high-net-worth individuals and various entity types.Experience with tax software and compliance tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
