Senior Marketing Communications Associate

The Senior Marketing Communications Associate will interact directly with corporate/industrial clients to deliver a variety of strategic marketing and communications programs. Tiny Mighty addresses client needs with a 360-degree approach to reputation and positioning. This role has a heavy emphasis on traditional PR activities, including earned media strategy, byline development, media pitch development, and relationship building with journalists. Media analysis and monitoring for insights are also critical functions of this position, as well as social media strategy development and execution. This role will have a heavy emphasis on project management and also ensure that all client materials present a clear, unified, and positive image for the organization and/or brand.We’re looking for someone who is curious, passionate about PR & Marketing, skilled in technical writing, comfortable managing client relationships, and exceptional at project management. You must be highly organized, self-motivated, flexible when things change, and possess a strong attention to detail. This is not an entry-level role. 3-5 years of experience managing client relationships in-house and/or in an agency environment is required. Based in Nashville, TN, this position is full-time, in-office at least four days and will report to a Senior Marketing Communications Manager. Remote candidates based in Minneapolis, MN will be considered. Duties/Responsibilities:o Leads day-to-day account management with a strong focus on meeting client needs on time and on budget.o Effectively prioritizes responsibilities based on impact, timelines, workflow and client goals.o Drives projects forward, managing up as needed to ensure constant progress.o Identifies key messages and audiences while developing/influencing strategic communications plans and content.o Transforms highly technical subject matter into relatable, impactful bylines; captures client voice and effectively tailors content to target audiences.o Maintains strong relationships with business, broadcast, and trade media, and manages the ongoing delivery of media pitches with current events and editorial calendars; identifies solid earned media opportunities.o Ensures relationships with media spokespersons are maintained while making professional media interview recommendations.o Develops and executes strategic digital and/or social media campaigns to achieve strategic client business objectives and drive engagement.o Oversees and produces, from concept to completion, a broad array of digital and/or print promotional and communications materials.o Manages the monitoring of news and social landscape daily.o Identifies areas for improvement and brings suggestions and solutions forward.o Oversees the progress of results and analytics reports on key metrics for all programming.
