EEG TechnicianWe cover a level IV 6 bed EMU at a level 1 Trauma hospital and 4 other hospitals around the Austin metroplex. It is a requirement to travel to all facilities, performing routine, stat, LTM EEG procedures Our patient demographics range between outpatient, adults and Neuro-Critical Care.Roles & ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic electroencephalograph (EEG) testing. Attach, connect, and operate electrodes from specified body areas to leads from electroencephalograph machine. Review patient's record and instructs patients prior to procedures. Monitor patient during procedures and reports any abnormal findings. Identify and correct for artifacts. Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation. Maintain EEG equipment and supplies.Required SkillsEEG TechnicianCertifications & Clearance RequirementsBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification
