Production Manager

The Production Manager supports store leadership in managing merchandise processing and daily retail operations, ensuring policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently executed. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is committed to both team development and operational excellence.Responsibilities:Review and analyze sales, payroll, and operational expenses to meet financial goals while maintaining cost control and profitabilityOversee daily store operations to ensure smooth workflows and efficient coordination across all departmentsMaintain a safe and secure work environment by enforcing safety protocols and proactively working to minimize internal theft and shopliftingCommunicate any operational issues, challenges, or observations to the Store Manager and District Manager, providing insight and recommendations for corrective actions or improvements, and collaborate to develop and implement action plans to resolve issuesRecruit, hire, train, and manage staff while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, holding team members accountable for performance and conductQualifications:Detail-oriented, with experience tracking performance metrics, implementing systems, and maintaining operational efficiencyClear communicator, able to present complex ideas and collaborate across teamsExperience managing production operations in fast-paced settings, with a focus on system improvement and efficiencyStrong problem-solving abilities, tackling challenges with creative and practical solutionsBachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experienceAbout Company:At Goodwill Industries of Michiana - Northwest, our mission extends beyond providing job opportunities and community support.
