Job Summary The Sales Development Representative will learn and specialize in the AlignRx sales lead process and company’s full-service offerings; communicate with potential customers; and track reports to manage progress. Essential Job Functions Thrive on building relationships; self-starter with a passion for driving results Create, manage, and drive the top of funnel sales experience by being responsible for all outbound lead efforts Generate interest in AlignRx’s product suite to potential customers/prospects through proactive phone and email communication Conduct discussions with prospects with the purpose of driving interest and assessing need Achieve monthly activity and lead qualification goals Provide sales team with detailed call notes via the CRM (Hubspot) to ensure the opportunity is understood and next steps are clearly defined Work closely with the AlignRx’s Sales and Marketing team to ensure alignment of objectives Additional Responsibilities Learn basic sales skills, sales model, and relationship building Learn company services and products to identify opportunities that benefit pharmacy operations Utilize skills to effectively influence customer cooperation during final stages of sales process Minimum Qualifications for Consideration Education: Preferred: Liberal Arts Bachelor’s Degree Experience: None Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good interpersonal skills: able to work well with a wide range of people Strong organizational and time-management skills Dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules Resourceful with an ability to take initiative Strong sense of urgency and inherent competitiveness Basic computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer, including Microsoft Office applications; computer skills to include file management skills, Internet, Microsoft Windows, database, word processing (WORD), spreadsheets (Excel), presentation software (PowerPoint), graphics Physical Requirements/Working Conditions The Sales Development Representative operates in a home office environment. This job will routinely use standard office equipment, such as laptop computers, telephones, copier, facsimile, and scanner. No travel is anticipated for this role but could include limited travel in the future.
