In this dynamic role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a safe and engaging environment, and support the developmental needs of Two's and/or Toddlers. Your expertise will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning, ensuring each child feels valued, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. A candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and have a good understanding of age-appropriate activities for young children.ResponsibilitiesEnsuring highest Health & safety standards being followed at all timesHigh engagement with children, staff and school communityManaging classroom budgetComplying with state child care licensing regulationsProjecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skillsHaving a genuine love for children, staff and a strong commitment to educationManaging conflictsEmbracing coaching and mentoringSetting the positive mood in the school – contributing efforts for celebrations, special occasions, festive themes, multi-cultural activities, community engagement, school wide decorationsFamilies engagement through email newsletters, welcoming them with warm greetings, thorough communication of information at pick up times, and participating in eventsReview and Lead lesson planning, accountable for timely implementation and communication to familiesAbility to work on achieving accreditationsAbility to understand special needs requirementsTimely Reporting, Documentation and Follow up of child observations and incidentsContributing to peer Professional DevelopmentClassroom Materials ManagementQualificationsPrior experience working with Two's and Toddlers in daycare or preschool settings.Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus.Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management effectively.Experience with caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, and nurturing young children.Familiarity with early childhood education curricula and activities designed for preschool-aged children.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families and team members effectively.
