The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications that support our IT infrastructure and web services. The Java Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions in an Agile environment, ensuring seamless integration with various APIs and backend systems. Duties Develop, test, and deploy robust Java applications aligned with project requirements. Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate communication between different systems. Collaborate with front-end developers using JavaScript, React, and Express to create cohesive user experiences. Maintain and enhance existing software solutions utilizing technologies like C#, C++, Python, VBA, and .NET. Manage source code using version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, and Git. Integrate applications with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure for scalable deployment. Work within Agile development methodologies to deliver iterative improvements and features. Ensure application security through RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and other best practices. Troubleshoot issues related to application performance, security, or functionality across Linux and Windows environments. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives related to software development processes. Requirements Proven experience in software development with strong proficiency in Java programming language. Familiarity with IT infrastructure components such as Linux servers, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and database management (MySQL, SQL). Experience working with front-end technologies including JavaScript, React, and Express for web development projects. Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and integration techniques. Hands-on experience with version control systems like GitHub, SVN, or Git. Understanding of Agile methodologies for collaborative project management. Additional skills in Ruby on Rails, C#, C++, Python, VBA, .NET frameworks are advantageous. Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts is a plus but not required. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
