Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Princeton, NJ, for an Academic Technology/Robotics Teacher. The role involves developing and delivering engaging lessons in academic technology and robotics to a diverse student body from early childhood through grade eight. The teacher will design and implement lesson plans that integrate technology into the curriculum while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Additional responsibilities include supporting and training students and teachers in technology, maintaining learning materials and resources, and proactively engaging in professional development to enhance teaching methods and subject expertise. Qualifications Experience in Lesson Planning and designing developmentally appropriate educational programsProven abilities in Education and Teaching, with a focus on technology and roboticsStrong skills in Communication to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleaguesExperience in Training and mentoring to support technology integration for both students and facultyEnthusiasm for working within a diverse school community and fostering inclusive learning environmentsProficiency with technology education tools, programming languages, and robotics platforms is preferredBachelor’s degree in Education, Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)Commitment to Chapin’s values of Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Kindness, and Perseverance
