Program Director for Community Services

Lead impactful community programs as the Program Director at West Scarborough Neighbourhood Community Centre. This role combines team leadership, program design, and strategic funding initiatives to enhance local services. As the Program Director, you'll report to the Executive Director and collaborate with the Operations Manager while overseeing Children & Youth Services, Employment/Skills Development, Family Resource Centre, and Seniors Services. Your expertise in community development, strong proposal writing, and adept leadership skills will be pivotal in driving the Centre's mission. You'll also foster collaborations with local partners to further community engagement. Key Responsibilities Provide collaborative leadership to the programs team Implement and evaluate programs aligned with community needs Prepare funding proposals for major initiatives Develop agency-wide program plans with divisional coordinators Engage with community members for feedback and program design Requirements 3-5 years of senior management experience Degree in community development or related field Strong budgeting and negotiation skills Proven stakeholder engagement abilities Excellent communication and leadership skills Bring your passion for community development and strategic vision to drive impactful programs at WSNCC.
