Software Development Engineer, Firecracker

Overview As a member of the AWS Lambda/firecracker team, you will contribute to a global, scalable, open-source virtualization project tailored for multi-tenant serverless services. You will help shape features that meet customer needs, automate operations, and drive quality and development efficiency. The role blends startup-like scope with Amazon-scale impact, offering ownership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and opportunities to influence the ephemeral compute platform. You will also maintain the Firecracker project and participate in on-call rotations, contributing to a fault-tolerant, evolving ecosystem.
