Gym/Weight Room Attendant

No supervisory or budgetary responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Monitors walk/run track and all equipment; coordinates waiting list system of equipment during peak hours. Maintains cleanliness of fitness equipment, fitness area, and gymnasium. Ensures proper use of equipment by patrons, enforces fitness area rules and regulations and maintains safe environment for patron use. Completes incident/accident reports promptly and completely and immediately reports any incidents, injuries, or accidents to management. Notifies management staff of needed repairs. Responsible for accurate recordkeeping. Attends regularly scheduled staff meetings. Ensures enforcement of rules and regulations of LSPR. Performs all other related duties as assigned. Performs setup and takedown of room and gymnasium, for programs, rentals, special events, andactivities.
