Local Truck Driver (Class B )

Local Truck Driver Millerbernd Manufacturing is seeking a Local Truck Driver to join our Circular Products (CP) Team in Winsted. The Local Truck Driver is responsible for proper operation of fleet vehicles to deliver product to and from Millerbernd Manufacturing facilities/production cells in a courteous and timely manner.Location: Winsted, MNSalary Range: $25.50 - 30.00 per hour (non-exempt)(In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.)Shift Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Thursday 5am - 3pmShift Differential: 1st shift - N/AAs a Local Truck Driver, you will:Fastens chain or binders to secure load on trailer during transitLoads or unloads, or assists in loading and unloading truckServices vehicles with oil, fuel, and radiator fluid to maintain good working orderInventories and inspects goods to be movedWraps goods using pads, packing paper, and containers, and secures load to trailer using strapsPlaces vehicles, to the extent safe and feasible, at the locations required by shipper/receiverMaintains vehicle inspection log according to Millerbernd's policyComplies with federal drug and alcohol testing and training regulations as requiredMay use crane, hoist, forklift or other material handling equipment to transport materials and product into and out of the work area as requiredMaintain a favorable working relationship with coworkers to promote a cooperative working climate conducive to maximum productivity, efficiency and effectivenessWill be required to travel to our Sauk Rapids location with productsRole Qualifications as a Local Delivery Driver:Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement, Class A preferredHigh School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentEffective and appropriate oral and written communication skills, including legible handwriting in EnglishProficient knowledge in interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawingsComputer literate; particularly in word processing, spreadsheet, email, shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applicationsAbility to solve practical problems and make decisions within a set of guidelinesAbility to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperworkAble to work under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or proceduresJoin Millerbernd Manufacturing - Where Your Career Can Take ShapeAt Millerbernd, we don't just offer jobs-we build careers.
