Merchandising Assistant

Home goods division of multi-divisional company seeks a merchandising assistant to act as the liaison between design, factories and sales. This role ensures efficient communication with suppliers, accurate documentation, and timely follow-up on samples and product sourcing requirements. Responsibilities include: Request, document and track product samples from factories Provide feedback to factories in samples submission form Recap production art edits/feedback to design from factory upon sample arrival reviewDevelop a streamlined process for tracking samples in samples submission form Create and update edits on product and retailer presentations in PowerPointCommunicate with suppliers for sourcing needs in the ideation/concept phase of product development presentations per internal and buyer’s feedback Design tradeshow recap buyer presentations Qualification: 2 years’ experience in merchandising/admin role Excel /PowerPoint proficiencyExcellent benefits.
