Travel LPN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced LPN for a medical surgical role at a correctional facility, requiring an active Illinois license and CPR certification.Job Details• Position located in a correctional facility on a medical surgical unit,• Schedule is evening shifts, 5x8 hours, from 15:00 to 23:30,• Mandatory floating to other units or facilities as needed, within up to 50 miles,• Every other weekend (2 weekends per month) work required,• Documentation is completed using Cerner EMR,• Navy blue scrubs are required,Job Requirements• Graduate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing,• Current Illinois LPN license or ability to obtain two weeks prior to start (license required if applicable),• Current CPR certification,• Proof of successful completion of an approved pharmacology/medication administration course meeting Illinois standards,• One year of recent paid clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care preferred,• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required,• Ability to complete required lab work within 72 hours of offer acceptance,Additional Information• Must be willing to float at the facility's discretion, including to any unit or Cook facility as needed,• Team-based model used if floated outside primary area of competency,• RTO capped at 5 days, with no more than 2 consecutive days; no RTO on holidays, weekends, or the day before/after a holiday,• Strict compliance with all facility policies is expected,
