In this role, you will be responsible for conducting and overseeing land surveys to determine property boundaries, topographical features, and construction layouts. This role ensures the accuracy of survey data, compliance with legal and technical standards, and supports engineering, construction, and land development projects through detailed mapping and documentation.What You'll Do:Conduct boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys using GPS, total stations, and digital levelsInterpret deeds, plats, leases, and title documents to establish property boundariesPrepare and review legal descriptions, survey reports, maps, and easement exhibitsPerform advanced survey computations and QA/QC of field dataOperate and maintain survey equipment and ensure calibration and functionalityCoordinate with engineers, architects, and clients to define project scope and resolve technical issuesEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying regulations and standardsMentor junior staff and contribute to training and development initiativesWhat You'll Bring:Associate orBachelor'sDegree8+years of experience with conducting and overseeing land surveysProfessional licensurerequiredMeticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey dataStrong leadership skills to effectively manage and guide survey teams and provide strategic oversightProvide legal expertiseExcellent written and verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and collaborate with project teamsAbility to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectivelyEffective time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlinesProficiency in analyzing survey data and preparing accurate reports and mapsAbility to travel to various project sites included and may involve exposure to varying weather and terrain conditionsSalary Range:At Verdantas, we offer comprehensive benefits packages for our employees. Actual salary is based on the circumstances of each position and candidate, such as geographic location, skills, and certifications. We recognize and reward exceptional performance and strive to ensure fair compensation across all roles and departments within the company.
