Data Engineer (Michigan)

Long-Term Contracting roleOnly looking Independence VisasContract on W2 onlyResponsibilities:Design, modify, and develop software programming applications.Support and/or install software applications and operating systems.Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.Plan and accomplish goals using experience and judgment.Requirements:5-7 years of experience in data engineering, focusing on Azure-based solutions.Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.Required knowledge in SQL, Python, or Scala for data transformation and scripting.Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB and other Azure data storage solutions.Required Skills:Experience in data engineering with a focus on Azure-based solutions.Proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.Strong skills in SQL, Python, or Scala for data transformation and scripting.Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB and other Azure data storage solutions.Preferred Skills:Ability to do discovery on existing tools and data flow and recommend data models.Experience or understanding of working in the digital marketing or ecommerce data domain.
