Job DescriptionEHS EngineerOur client located in Louisville, Kentucky is adding an EHS Engineer to their team. This is a direct hire opportunity.Company Profile:Consumer ProductsEHS Engineer Role:The EHS Engineer supports safety initiatives within a large, complex manufacturing facility. This role is highly focused on safety execution, project ownership, and frontline engagement, with a strong presence on the production floor.Lead safety projects from initiation through completionConduct risk assessments with focus on ergonomics and equipment interactionManage and support workers' compensation cases and OSHA recordabilityPartner with operations to improve pedestrian and mobile equipment safetyPerform safety audits, observations, and incident investigationsSupport and rotate through new hire safety trainingTrack and manage safety data through EHS systemsBuild relationships with frontline employees and supervisors to drive safety cultureEHS Engineer Background Profile:Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field3-7+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong focus on health & safety over environmentalExperience managing projects independently from start to finishKnowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA recordkeepingComfortable working in a union environmentExperience with EHS systems (e.g., Gensuite) and ergonomic tools is a plusStrong communication and ability to influence frontline teamsFeatures and Benefits:Bonus ProgramHealthcare Benefits and various Wellness ProgramsPTO and Holiday401k with matchAnd so much moreJob Requirements3-7+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong focus on health & safety over environmentalAdditional InformationFrontline Source Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
