Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong understanding. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining the integrity of the freight. Duties Execute route driving to deliver goods to specified locations in a timely manner. Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required. Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on delivery driving preferred. Ability to handle freight loading and unloading safely. Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation skills. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
