In this role, you will design and implement Infrastructure as Code for data platforms, manage CI/CD workflows, and support reliable, scalable environments for data engineering and analytics teams. You will collaborate with developers, data engineers, and system administrators to streamline releases, improve observability, and enhance performance across Linux-based systems. Daily activities include troubleshooting platform issues, optimizing resource usage, strengthening security and compliance, and documenting processes and standards to ensure consistent operations.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, including experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar platforms.Candidates should possess Software Development skills, with proficiency in scripting or programming languages commonly used in DevOps (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).Candidates should possess Continuous Integration skills, including designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.Candidates should possess System Administration and Linux skills, with hands-on experience managing, securing, and monitoring Linux-based servers and services.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.Background in data platforms, data engineering environments, or analytics infrastructure is preferred.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively in a remote, collaborative setting.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
