Data Management Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data systems that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. This role requires strong expertise in data collection, database design, and data warehousing, as well as proficiency with various tools and technologies such as SQL, Tableau, Python, and ETL processes. The Data Management Analyst will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, quality, and accessibility to facilitate informed decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities Develop and maintain robust data management systems, including data warehouses and databases, to support analytical needs. Design and implement ETL processes using tools such as Informatica, Talend, or custom Python scripts to extract, transform, and load large datasets efficiently. Manage and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis from Oracle databases and other sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions. Utilize Tableau and other visualization tools to create insightful dashboards and reports for stakeholders. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decisions. Lead projects related to big data integration, linked data management, and advanced analytics initiatives. Ensure data quality by establishing validation procedures and maintaining adherence to best practices in data governance. Support Agile project management methodologies to deliver timely solutions aligned with business priorities. Provide leadership in data collection strategies, database design, and overall data architecture development. Skills Proficiency with Tableau for visualization and reporting purposes. Strong project management skills with experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams. Expertise in ETL tools such as Informatica and Talend; experience with Python scripting is a plus. Advanced knowledge of SQL for database querying; experience with Oracle databases preferred. Familiarity with big data technologies and concepts including Hadoop or Spark is advantageous. Experience working with linked data frameworks and semantic web technologies. Deep understanding of data management principles, including database design and data warehousing concepts. Knowledge of Agile methodologies for project execution. Excellent data analysis skills combined with strong analytical thinking capabilities. Experience in analytics platforms and tools supporting large-scale data collection and processing. Demonstrated leadership abilities within technical teams or projects involving complex data systems.
