Join eXcell and enjoy our generous employee benefits!We are currently seeking a qualified Level 4 Support Technician to join our client's team at an onsite position in Hillsboro, OR and provide physical Touch / Hardware / Software support to supported labs while taking direction from Client management.Duties And ResponsibilitiesCreate and deploy solutions based on JIRA tickets for custom builds, repairs, and cluster setups Resolve JIRA lab support tickets based on priorities defined by Client management Ensure solutions / clusters are completed correctly and on timely basis Provide updates and clear communications on tickets Deploy OS and configure server / clusters as part of a solution deployment Troubleshoot Linux and hardware issues Facilitate hardware changes, installation, or removal of hardware (CPU, RAM, Storage, Network interfaces, etc.) Root cause and resolve hardware and configurations, serial console knowledge Follow network security policies on Main Lab and Secure External Datalink (SED) Networks Some Window installations may be needed using IT build manage and process but will be infrequent Keep the lab space clean, safe, and organized Perform cable and rack management Rack and Un-rack servers, PDU's, and network gear Move equipment to, from and around lab space Create shipment documentation and assist with getting shipments over to shipping Pick up components from receiving location around campus Provide Misc. lab support and complete paperwork / general admin (safety maintenance walkthroughs, lab trainings, etc.) Dispose EOL systems, old components and systems no longer needed based on directions provided We offer a comprehensive benefit package that you can elect into including but not limited to: Health Insurance (Medical, Vision, Dental), 401k, Basic Life / AD&D, Supplemental Insurances Plans, Paid Time Off Plan, Paid Holiday, Paid Sick Leave plan, FSA / HSA Pre-Tax Benefits, Employee Discounts.W2 only, no Corp to Corp.
