S4 PP / Plan-to-Make Consultant

BCTG’s direct client is seeking a hands-on SAP PP Consultant to support manufacturing operations in a highly integrated S/4HANA production environment. This is a plant-facing operational support role focused on production execution, shop floor support, and real-time issue resolution across manufacturing sites.The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between manufacturing operations, plant users, and IT, supporting day-to-day production activities while driving issue resolution, process improvements, testing, and post-go-live stabilization.Responsibilities:Strong SAP PP / Plan-to-Make experience within S/4HANA manufacturing environmentsHands-on experience supporting shop floor manufacturing operations and plant users in real-time production environmentsStrong understanding of production execution, production/process orders, goods movements, confirmations, inventory flow, and end-to-end production lifecycleExperience supporting or integrating SAP with MES and shop floor manufacturing systemsStrong knowledge of MRP, BOMs, routings, production scheduling, capacity planning, and material staging processesExperience integrating SAP PP with MM, QM, and EWM/WMProven experience troubleshooting real-time manufacturing, production, and inventory-related support issuesPartner directly with plant users, planners, supervisors, warehouse teams, QA, and IT to identify root cause and drive issue resolutionAnalyze and triage production support tickets, distinguish process versus system issues, and coordinate fixes and enhancementsGather business requirements, document AS-IS and TO-BE processes, and support functional enhancementsParticipate in SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-production stabilization activitiesLead or support user forums, training sessions, and adoption activities for plant teamsRequired Experience:Strong SAP PP / Plan-to-Make experience in S/4HANA manufacturing environmentsHands-on experience supporting shop floor manufacturing operations and plant usersStrong understanding of production execution, goods movements, confirmations, inventory flow, and production order lifecycleExperience supporting or integrating with MES/shop floor manufacturing systemsStrong knowledge of MRP, BOMs, routings, production scheduling, and capacity planningExperience integrating PP with MM, QM, and EWM/WMProven experience troubleshooting real-time manufacturing and production support issuesExperience supporting go-live, hypercare, and production stabilization activitiesStrong communication and stakeholder management skills in plant-facing environmentsPharma, biotech, GMP/GxP, or CMO manufacturing experience strongly preferred
