Key ResponsibilitiesDesign enterprise data architectures and integration pipelines from scratch.Develop multi-system identity resolution strategies and reference architectures.Lead discovery sessions and communicate architectural tradeoffs.Create technical roadmaps and architecture documentation.Design and support implementation of a unified data pipeline across multiple SIS instances.Required SkillsStrong experience in Data Architecture and Data Engineering.Expertise in layered data pipelines (Bronze/Silver/Gold), incremental processing, data lineage, and orchestration.Hands-on experience with Python, TypeScript, SQL, and REST APIs.Strong knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, RDS, S3, SQS, Step Functions, and AWS CDK (Terraform/Pulumi acceptable).Experience with relational databases (MySQL preferred) and backend frameworks such as Flask.Familiarity with Angular or React is a plus.Ability to design data platforms that support future AI/ML and RAG use cases.PreferredExperience with Student Information Systems (SIS) or complex multi-source integrations.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with executives, stakeholders, and engineering teams.Experience documenting solutions for long-term maintainability.
