About the RoleAs an Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the websites that power our auction platforms. In this role, you'll build, optimise, and maintain critical user experiences that drive engagement on our online auctioning platform. Through a blend of strategic problem solving and coding, you'll contribute to positioning TBAuctions and its brands as leaders in the online auction industry.You'll work closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations, contributing to platform-wide technical decisions while growing your expertise in modern frontend architecture and user experience based optimisation.This is a fixed-term position to cover a parental leave. The employment is expected to last for 7 months, with a preferred start date in mid-June.You will be employed by Klaravik AB but will work with TBAuctionsWhat You Will DoDevelopment & DeliveryDesign, develop, and maintain Next.js websites to handle auction browsing, real-time bidding, user dashboards, and payment flowsWrite clean, performant code with a focus on user experience while keeping it reusable and maintainableImplement responsive deigns using Tailwind CSS, optimising for all devicesContribute to real-time features that power our live auction experiencesPerformance & SEOOptimise Core Web Vitals and implement strategic rendering patterns (SSR, SSG, ISR) to maximise performance and search visibilityBuild SEO-friendly page structures with proper metadata, structured data, and semantic HTMLImplement and manage feature flags to enable safe, incremental rollouts and (in the future) A/B testingMonitor and improve Lighthouse scores, ensuring fast, accessible user experiencesCloud & DevOpsDeploy and maintain applications within our Azure cloud infrastructureDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOpsImplement monitoring and error tracking to ensure application health and rapid issue resolution (Sentry, Grafana Cloud)Work with Docker to ensure compatibility between serversWork with Kubernetes to understand and diagnose our Next.js applicationsCollaboration & GrowthCollaborate with local and international teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutionsParticipate in architectural discussions and contribute to frontend patterns and standardsPartner with product managers, designers, senior engineers, and architects to turn business needs into exceptional user experiencesShare knowledge and support continuous improvement within the teamWhat You BringTechnical SkillsStrong proficiency in React and Next.js with 3–5 years in frontend developmentDeep understanding of Tailwind CSS and modern styling approachesSolid grasp of SEO principles, including technical SEO, metadata management, and structured dataExperience with feature flag systems (LaunchDarkly, Unleash, or similar)Familiarity with Azure services and cloud-native deployment patternsUnderstanding of performance optimisation techniques and Core Web VitalsExperience with CI/CD practices and tooling (Azure DevOps preferred)Mindset & Soft SkillsA self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to do, you spot opportunities and bring them to the teamA genuine team player who believes the best work happens togetherA pragmatic, outcome driven approach to problem solving with user experience at the centreNaturally curious with a things around the web, how can we improve by learningGenerous with your knowledge and ready to help colleagues succeedNice to HaveExperience with real-time data handling (WebSockets)Familiarity with monitoring and observability toolsExperience working as part of an agile team (Scrum)Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive designExposure to headless CMS platforms or composable architecturesExperience with testing frameworksExperience mentoring other developersDetailsRemote work from any location within Sweden is acceptable.You need to have a valid right to work in Sweden.
