Senior Direct Support Professional

Location: Community-Based (Bedford, NH area) Status: Immediate Opening We are seeking a dedicated, "tech-savvy" Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join a specialized team supporting a 22-year-old (primarily) non-speaking young man with autism+. This position reports directly to the Family Manager, while working under the daily supervision and mentorship of a seasoned, Master’s Level Special Educator who is a dynamic leader and entrepreneur. Operating within a 2:1 staff-to-client model, you will work alongside the Special Educator and/or another DSP to provide a neurodiversity-affirming, non-ABA experience. Schedule & CompensationHours: Approximately 30 hours per week (Typical shift: M–F, 11:30 AM – 5:30 PM).Pay: $25.00 per hour, paid through The Moore Center and the IHCB Waiver.Benefits: Full medical/dental insurance, two weeks paid vacation, personal days, and paid holidays.RequirementsEducation: Recent graduates in Psychology, Special Education, Neuroscience, or related fields are encouraged to apply.Experience: Previous experience with non-speaking adults with autism is highly preferred.Technical: Must be comfortable and "tech-prone," specifically in the context of using and modeling digital tools (AAC and AT) for communication and learning. We are also seeking a technology-savvy individual with a basic working knowledge of smart devices, social media, and today's tech-oriented social landscape.Logistics: Reliable vehicle and insurance required for driving the client 2–3 days per week (mileage reimbursed).Availability: Must be available for daytime shifts; those only available after 3:00 PM will not be considered.How to Apply: Please submit your resume outlining your education, technology skills, and any experience working with individuals with autism.
