Plant Engineer

Chase and Associates is partnering with an established, family-owned packaging leader as they expand into sustainable manufacturing. We are seeking a Plant Engineer to be the technical lead for installing and commissioning new, state-of-the-art equipment in Sugar Land, TX.What You'll Do:Lead equipment installation, commissioning, and startup from planning to handoff.Serve as the key liaison between OEMs, contractors, and internal Operations, Maintenance, & IT teams.Develop PM plans, ensure accurate documentation (SAP, AutoCAD), and drive reliability.Integrate equipment with building automation and data systems for Industry 4.0 initiatives.What You Need:MUST HAVE: Direct experience in paper bag converting, flexible packaging, or high-speed converting operations.Hands-on experience managing industrial equipment installation/commissioning.Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years in plant/maintenance engineering.Proficiency in AutoCAD and CMMS (SAP preferred).Strong mechanical/electrical knowledge of high-speed machinery.
