We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to support construction, recycling, and material handling projects. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient operations while contributing to our commitment to environmental responsibility and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as , loaders, skid steer and forklift and other machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites and recycling facilities.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
Load, unload, transport, and position materials using equipment like front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks.
Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material movement to support project timelines.
Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a secure work environment.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other heavy equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
Valid commercial driver’s license with experience driving heavy trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, or tanker trucks.
Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety procedures and operational standards.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for demanding tasks.
Knowledge of construction materials like concrete mixers and farm machinery is a plus.
