Certified Pesticide Applicator

Job Description Nature's Care Orlando, LLC is seeking a Certified Pest Control Operator (CPO) to lead and oversee our pest control division. This role requires a fully licensed operator who can legally operate under their own license—not an applicator working under another individual's certification.This is a leadership-level position responsible for compliance, treatment oversight, program development, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across residential and commercial properties, including high-end communities and resorts.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate as the licensed Certified Pest Control Operator for the companyEnsure full compliance with all Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) regulationsDiagnose pest, disease, and turf issues and implement proper treatment plansOversee and train pest control technicians and applicatorsManage pesticide usage, storage, and application recordsDevelop and oversee fertilization and pest control programs tailored to property needsConduct property inspections and provide detailed reportingInterface with clients, property managers, and internal teams to ensure service qualityMaintain proper documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory complianceAssist in building and scaling the pest control divisionRequirementsActive Certified Pest Control Operator (CPO) License in Florida (REQUIRED)Must hold your own operator license (not working under another license holder)Strong knowledge of:Turf and ornamental pest controlFertilization programsIntegrated Pest Management (IPM)Experience with Florida-specific pests (chinch bugs, whiteflies, scale, etc.)Ability to diagnose plant health issues including disease, nutrient deficiencies, and insect damageLeadership experience managing field technicians preferredStrong organizational and documentation skillsValid Florida driver's licensePreferred QualificationsExperience in high-end residential or HOA/commercial propertiesKnowledge of irrigation systems and plant health care programsBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceCompany vehicle (if applicable)Partial company-paid health insurance (with upgrade options)Optional dental and vision plansCompany-paid life insurancePaid holidaysVacation after one year of employment (see employee handbook for details)Why Join Nature's Care OrlandoRapidly growing company with strong leadership and structureOpportunity to lead and build a pest control divisionWork on premium properties and high-visibility accountsSupportive team environment with clear processes and expectationsHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume along with proof of your Certified Pest Control Operator license.
