Leap into an exciting opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist at May Center for Early Intervention in West Springfield, MA.  OverviewThe Occupational Therapist works under the Early Intervention Program Director as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services to children from birth to three years of age in a family-centered program.  The Occupational Therapist works directly with children and their families in the children’s natural environments, including, but not limited to, the children’s homes and/or daycare settings. Provide consultation and training to classroom staff, ensuring effective strategies are used daily. Consulting with classroom staff regarding students' OT needs Offer direct therapy services when needed, applying evidence-based techniques Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to IEP evaluations and ongoing student support.
