Network Support Engineer

This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.As part of the Network Support team, you will administer and troubleshoot all aspects of client network environments. We’re looking for a collaborative professional with solid networking experience and a desire to expand into other technical areas.Key Responsibilities:Deliver outstanding communication and customer service.Build and maintain strong client relationships.Collaborate effectively within a team to achieve goals.Apply critical thinking to resolve complex issues.Perform general network troubleshooting (routing, switching, wireless, DNS, DHCP, VoIP, VLAN, VPN).Configure and troubleshoot firewalls (Cisco ASA, Cisco Meraki, Fortinet).Provide base-level network configurations for client sites.Execute firmware and code upgrades on networking devices.Partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues.Participate in on-call rotation and occasional after-hours/weekend work.Travel to client sites as needed.Read and interpret technical manuals and documentation.Attend technical meetings and mentor junior team members.Complete annual training and certification requirements.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Experience:3+ years supporting or implementing IT infrastructure.1+ years supporting networking technologies.Preferred Qualifications:Associate degree in Computer Science or related field; CCENT or similar certification.Hands-on experience with advanced networking hardware (routers, switches, VoIP, load balancers, wireless, firewalls, proxy devices).Knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and switching standards (Cisco proprietary protocols, spanning-tree, trunking, MPLS).Cisco and Microsoft certifications or equivalent experience.Leadership or team management experience.
