Legacy Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturer in Mentor, Ohio to identify a skilled Machine Operator to join their production team.Position SummaryThe Machine Operator is responsible for installing tooling, performing machine setups, producing quality parts, and maintaining equipment. Must have experience Running Machines using drills and taps in Production.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall tooling and fixtures according to setup sheets.Adjust machines to produce parts that meet quality standards.Perform regular quality checks.Monitor machines for quality changes.Complete required QC check-ins.Maintain equipment in proper order.Tumble parts to remove burrs and chips.Load materials and perform two-handed machine operations.Read and interpret blueprints.Use standard and specialized measuring instruments.Physical RequirementsStand for up to 6 hours per shift.Perform two-handed operations.Lift 35-lb items routinely, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.Clear vision with or without corrective lenses.QualificationsPrevious machining or manufacturing experience.Experience using drills, taps, and machine operation.Computer literacy required.Ability to read blueprints.Ability to use precision measurement tools.Work Location: In person
