1st Shift- Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Brief DescriptionThe Shipping & Receiving Clerk performs a variety of tasks related to the receiving, storage, movement, and shipment of materials, supplies, and equipment. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are accurately received, inventoried, transported, and delivered while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Shift Available: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:30pmEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesVerify inbound materials against packing slips and purchase orders to ensure inventory accuracy.Receive and store materials in appropriate warehouse locations.Deliver receiving and shipping paperwork to designated departments in a timely manner.Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.Load and unload trucks in accordance with company safety procedures.Inspect inbound and outbound shipments to ensure quality and specification requirements are met.Pull materials from inventory and deliver them to manufacturing areas as needed.Transport materials and finished products between facilities.Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records.Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.Research and resolve inventory-related issues using inventory management systems.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.Follow established work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.Communicate shortages, discrepancies, and other material-related concerns to supervisors and relevant departments.Support company goals, policies, and quality standards.Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and strong customer service.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications RequiredHigh school diploma or GED.Minimum of 3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience.Previous forklift operation experience.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to identify materials, parts, and components accurately.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Basic computer and math skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.PreferredExperience using RF scanners.Experience with inventory control and cycle counting.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.Sitting for extended periods of time.Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Final offers may vary based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
