Shift: 3rd Shift, 10:00pm-6:30am, Monday-Friday (Potential OT on Saturdays)
Rate: $22.50 (to start) ($20.00 base + $2.50 shift differential)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operators that prefer 2nd shift hours to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will oversee the operation of paper or plastic production machinery, ensuring the efficient and safe manufacturing of high-quality paper products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery operation, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor paper or plastic production machine equipment to ensure optimal output
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery
Adjust machine settings to meet quality specifications and production schedules
Collaborate with prepress teams to ensure proper material handling and setup
Manage packaging processes to ensure finished products meet packaging standards
Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate production records and report any deviations or malfunctions
Follow safety procedures diligently and promote a safe working environment
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational efficiencies
Qualifications:
Experience operating manufacturing machines or equipment (paper/plastics preferred)
Knowledge of prepress processes and packaging standards
Basic machining skills for equipment maintenance and adjustments
Understanding of manufacturing workflows
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting and follow safety guidelines

Paper or plastic manufacturing : 1 year (Preferred)
