Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:RN - EDJob Details:• Travel and trauma experience required, Level 1 preferred• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments• Assist physicians in examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products• Interact with family and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and at discharge• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel• Delegate tasks to support staff• One year of nursing experience required• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred• Required certifications: Current RN License (Oklahoma or multistate compact), BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)• Strong verbal and written communication skills required• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors• Computer skills requiredFacility:This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services including emergency and trauma care.
