You will receive a best in class, total compensation package that provides a comprehensive benefits program with real financial value.What You Will DoEnsure 5S implementation in order to have a clean and organized warehouse, allowing prompt location identification of partsEstablish & maintain the spare part management systemSupervise the handling of spare partsCreate the working instructions & procedures for employees working in spare parts warehouse & managementEnsure access to spare parts by necessary employees during production period (normal & overtime)Propose the spare parts budget to the Plant / Production managerImplement spare parts warehouse red boxPermanently challenge the inventory reorder points and stock valueImprove inventory accuracy thanks to regular cycle counting, discrepancy root cause analysis and action planTrack spare parts obsolescence (including following transfers and equipment write off) and identify non-rotating stockPropose to Maintenance Manager a list of obsolete, non-rotating spare parts & relatedAction Plan, such as sell back to suppliers or on the open market, or to other Valeo plantsDefine the spare parts procurement strategy, taking into account the spare parts cost,Improve the spare parts management & handling systemParticipate to contract negotiation with parts supplier lead by purchase departmentPromote and participate to standardization of spare partsAlert and build action plan in case of non-available spare partsCreate the new line’s necessary spare part listRequest quotation about new spare partsNew parts get into spare part handling systemParticipate in the spare parts list definition at the earlier stage of machines / equipment investmentWhat You Should HaveHigh school diploma or GED required-Yes required2+ years of experience managing a tool crib or spare parts inventoryExperience using Google or Microsoft applications on the jobJoin us!Thanks to its strategy focused on innovation, Valeo aims at reducing CO² emissions and developing intuitive driving to propose greener, safer, and smarter mobility.
